This policy explains what STR Cleaning App collects, why, and the choices you have. It covers this website, strcleaning.app, and the app at my.strcleaning.app.
Who we are
STR Cleaning App is made and operated by DOSbnb ("we", "us"). For anything about your data, email hello@strcleaning.app.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, phone number, company and role.
- Property and booking details from the booking systems you connect: property addresses, check-out and check-in times, and the booking details those systems share, which can include guest names.
- Job records: checklists and answers, notes, voice notes and their transcripts, and check-in locations.
- Photos taken for jobs, with the date, time and location details the camera recorded.
- Messages sent in the app, including photos and voice notes.
- Maintenance records: appliances, issues, work orders, supplies and their costs.
- Billing details: handled by our payment provider. We don't store card numbers.
- Technical details: device and browser information, the IP address a visit comes from and the country it points to, notification settings and logs that keep the service secure and working.
We work out which country an IP address is in on our own server, using IP geolocation by DB-IP (licensed under CC BY 4.0). The address isn't sent to anyone for this.
How we use it
- To run the service: create jobs from bookings, guide cleaners through them and share the results with the right people.
- To send notifications by app, email and text message about work you're involved in.
- To grade photos, write out voice notes, read appliance data plates and write summaries using AI services.
- To bill the company that manages the properties.
- To provide support, keep the service secure and improve it.
AI processing
Photos, voice notes and notes are sent to the AI services we use, such as Anthropic, OpenAI and Google, so they can return results for the features above. We use their business services for this, and we don't sell this content or use it for advertising.
Who sees your information
- People in your company, according to their role.
- The companies you work with on a job: for example, the cleaning company assigned to your property sees that job, and an owner sees the report you send them.
- Service providers who work for us under contract: hosting, email delivery, text messaging, payments and AI processing.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
We don't sell personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your company uses STR Cleaning App, and afterwards only as long as we need it for legal, tax or dispute reasons. Photos and job records are kept as a record of the work while your company's account is open. You can ask us to delete information sooner.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it.
- Stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. See the SMS terms.
- Turn phone notifications off in your device settings.
Security
Everything is sent over encrypted connections. Logins for connected booking systems are stored encrypted, and each company sees only its own properties, jobs and invoices.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above, and tell account holders about significant changes.
